Integrated Management Strategy This Strategy is the result of the first five years of progress towards integrated management of the Firth of Clyde and its resources. Working together and in consultation with the local communities around the Firth, the Strategy represents broad-based consensus amongst varied organisations and interest groups, on the issues which must be resolved, and the measures that might be taken to expedite these. The aim is to secure a healthy future for the Clyde by minimising conflict between its users and ensuring that its resources - economic, environmental and community - are used and managed responsibly in a mutually compatible manner wherever possible. This page will show updates and progress on the current Action Plan (Phase II) and document the minutes from the Forums Core Group.
Phase II The Phase II Action Plan is under review and the updated version will be added shortly, but will have similar priorities as before. The previous Phase II action plan is still available to download here. This is a comprehensive 18 month workload that has been selected on the basis of consultation with the Forum membership and the ongoing work initiated within the Phase I Action Plan. Those milestones highlighted in red require additional funding if the Forum membership are to see them progressed. Phase I Phase I Review - This document reviews the progress of implementation through the Phase I Action Plan. Core Group Meeting Agenda and Minutes The following links give you access to the agenda and minutes of the Core Group meetings. These meetings occur quarterly and are held in varying locations throughout the Firth.
